Uplift trained their pilot teachers at the 2019 Wayfinder Institute. In 2021, they participate in a network-wide training for district rollout.

Timeline

As a result of positive student feedback, Wayfinder will be used network-wide for 11th and 12th graders.

How Wayfinder is implemented

Used a combination of both physical and digital purpose toolkits.
In 2021, Wayfinder will be used network wide by 1,000+ 11th graders and 1,000+ 12th graders at all 13 schools.
Uplift Juniors were highly engaged.
Students gained a deeper understanding of their differences but also identified their commonalities.
Students became more confident talking about their perspectives and lives.
Uplift teachers found Wayfinder easy to implement and have been pleased with the positive impact it's had on students.
