Principal trained at 2018 Summer Institute. Six additional educators trained at the 2019 Wayfinder Institute.

## Timeline  
Independence High School implemented the purpose toolkits first in 2018 with Principal Klafter and a few teachers. In 2020 they expanded to integrate the belonging toolkit with more teachers.

## How Wayfinder is implemented  
- Independence High School uses Wayfinder as part of the advisory curriculum.  
- Each advisory has 5-12 students with an advisor who leads them through the curriculum over the year.  
- They use the Belonging 3 curriculum for 9th grade and Purpose 1 for 10th grade.  
- They are set to expand to a all school model to include 11th and 12th grade.  
- The staff has developed from the curriculum and had a very positive experience with Wayfinder.  
- They used Wayfinder as part of their intentional community building program to help their new online students.
